FAQs

I am an out-of-network provider. A Superbill/Invoice will be provided for you to submit to your insurance for Out-Of-Network Physical Therapy Treatment reimbursement purposes.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. I will provide a receipt for you.

Do you accept Health Spending Account/Flexible Spending Account (HSA/FSA)?

In the state of CA you can see a physical therapist without a referral for 45 days or 12 visits, whichever comes first. To continue treatment you will need a referral from your physician. Sometimes I require a referral prior to treatment, which we will discuss before your evaluation. If you are being seen for Rehab Fitness or Wellness, a referral is typically not needed.

Do I need a referral to schedule?

I primarily treat women.

Do you treat men?

Yes, for pelvic health and orthopedic conditions.

Do you treat pediatric patients?

Yes. Time is set aside during our appointment for you to tend to/breastfeed/feed your child. I also offer in-home sessions. A note: some mothers find it comforting to have their child present during our session, others find it more challenging to focus, it really depends on your comfort level and needs.

Can I bring my baby/child?

When making your appointment we will discuss when is best for you. Generally speaking, waiting at least 2 weeks post vaginal delivery and 6 weeks post c-section is recommended to allow for tissue healing. Assessments are given at home or at the Thyme Integrative Health location.

How soon can I see you postpartum?

I am fortunate to know some very talented photographers. Check em' out!
