"Many of our members have learned so much from Jen. Check out these testimonials from her last two clinics with Pacifica Runners:
'I've attended two of Jen's sessions and found them immensely helpful. She made me aware that I'm a "reverse breather," which apparently is pretty common. I have found her techniques beneficial in retraining myself to breathe properly. It's definitely helped me on my runs."
"I always thought I knew how to "engage" my core. After attending Jen Kinder's last couple clinics for Pacifica Runners, I realize I was doing it totally wrong! The exercises she taught our group were easy to learn and have enabled me to maintain a stronger core during my runs. My runs have also become more 'comfortable' because I feel my pelvic floor is now stronger.'" (Pacifica Runners, 2021)
"I chose to see Jen because of the overwhelming number of referrals I received through the Pacifica Mother's Club. Deservedly well-loved, Jen is very knowledgeable and sensitive about women's bodies post birth. She is attuned to the struggles women endure, often alone, and does her utmost to help women heal.
And her therapy protocols and advice are not stagnant. She is always seeking more effective ways to advance her patients' healing. She's always assessed my issues and progress with great care, thereby determining what protocol would serve me best at any particular stage. I have been seeing her now for over 6 months for diastatis recti, prolapse, and back pain. Because of her individual home therapy program, I have made such huge strides. I'm almost back to normal! And throughout this time she has been patient and encouraging and kind." (Amrit, C. Jan 2019)
"There are no words for me to describe the amazing care I received from Jen. My baby injured my tailbone during vaginal delivery. No one told me this was possible. I couldn't move properly and the doctors were only recommending pain meds. I knew something was wrong and that pain meds were not the solution. Two weeks postpartum I found Jen. Right after the first visit, I gained mobility. Jen thought me techniques to manage the pain and exercises to keep getting better. I was able to stop taking pain meds immediately. The lack of education on the topic of tailbone pain and pelvic health was surprising. I felt blessed when I found Jen." (Ana, R. Jan 2019)
"I saw Jen for postpartum recovery following a c-section. She has helped me so much to reconnect my core muscles, alleviate back pain, and return to fitness safely. Very lucky to have found Jen - highly recommend!!!" (P A. Nov 2018)
"I was referred to Jennifer Kinder by Thyme Integrative Health for my shoulder pain issues caused by working on the computer every day. Immediately, I found her to be very personable, very caring, extremely attentive to my needs and super sharp. Not only did Jen quickly relieve the tension around my shoulder during our sessions and suggest a very helpful ergonomic assessment at my job, she also gave me a comprehensive home exercise program. It was easy to do every day, and we adjusted it to work even better for me as we progressed. Jen gave me an awesome pelvic health strengthening program, as well.
After 6 months of working with Jen (including a month of rest due to severe flu), it was a night and day difference. My shoulder regained its full function and both of my arms are stronger than ever! And my core muscles are also in great shape. These exercises are something I will continue to do for life. I'm very grateful to Jen for introducing me to these programs and helping me get healthy and strong again!
I would recommend Jen to anyone with physical therapy needs. She is extremely knowledgeable and so wonderful to work with! Always positive, always cheerful, and a great listener. Thank you Jen!!" (Anya, C. July 2018)
"Jennifer was a huge help during and after my pregnancy. She is very knowledgeable and easy to work with. There are so many physical discomforts of pregnancy and postpartum that are just considered 'normal' by many MD's. However, Jennifer offers real solutions that work instead of just 'wait and see if it gets better on its own.' I highly recommend her for women's issues such as stress incontinence, as well as back and hip pain."(AL, July 2017)
"I pulled a muscle from a doing a long run I was not ready for about 2 years ago. In the past, I could easily increase my running mileage with no issues. Now after having kids combined with less exercise, having a sedentary job and elements out of my control like age, I injured myself. Eventually the pain went away and I only did moderate exercising, no running. Fast forward. I signed up for a Tough Mudder thinking I could quickly train. I made the same mistake and re injured my hamstring. I was getting a tingling pain from my button down to my calf while sitting and doing light walking. I wasn't able to do much exercising that I that I was use to. I was hesitant to go to a physical therapist thinking I could google my injuries and cure myself. My friend convinced me and I went. It's been great, I've learned about muscles I've never heard of and found my injury is more severe than I thought. I have the proper exercises to do get the muscles I need to get back into running. Since Jen specializes in postpartum, she addresses certain things my doctor never check for after having my babies. She educated me on postpartum exercises that I could do to get my body back. She checked for splitting of the stomach muscles and gave me exercises that has seen fixed my incontinence issues from birthing children. Now I can run, sneeze and cough like a normal person and not have to worry about any accidents." (KT, July 2017)
"Jennifer is very conscientious and knew a variety of ways to address my shoulder issues. She very elegantly helped my body come back from the trauma and begin the healing process." (Anonymous, Nov 2016)
